Jeans for Genes Day 2017

Today Connect have taken part in Jeans for Genes Day to help raise money for children who are affected by a Genetic Disorder. According to statics it is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder and therefore 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year. Some genetic disorders are apparent at birth while others are diagnosed at different stages throughout childhood, and sometimes into adulthood.

The money that Connect have raised will go towards providing grants for day-to-day support, equipment, nursing and patient support services, and events which bring together affected children and their families. Click here to see how the money raised helps those in need.
