Connect Charity Contributions 2024

Here at Connect, we believe in being charitable and helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Every week we collect donations on a Friday as part of a Dress Down initiative to raise funds for worthy causes.

Charity is a cornerstone of our ESG strategy.

Our fundraising efforts this year have included:

Iris's Cats In Need

Iris's Cats In Need

In January we raised £50 for Iris's Cats In Need, a local charity who rehouse stray cats.

Half of February's donation went to sponsoring Matt Maynard running the London Marathon for VICTA.

The other half of February's donation went to sponsoring Ryan Malbon running the London Marathon for RNIB.

For March we donated to a fundraiser which helped to cover the funeral costs of Jamie Parker who tragically died in a local fire.

50 Miles

for £500

Our April fundraising was donated to our very own TJ Harlott who is running an impressive 50-miles during 2024, admirably raising money for multiple charities.

Animal Lifeline

In May we supported Animal Lifeline, a local charity in Stoke-on-Trent which rescues and rehomes dogs.

For June we donated to Mind, a charity fighting for the mental health of people in England and Wales.

For July we contributed to supporting the family of 8-year old Melody who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Synovial Sarcoma Cancer.

In August we donated to the Alice Charity supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged families in our local community.

During September we raised £50 toward the amazing work of Cancer Research UK.

For November, we raised £50 for a Children 1st Day Nursery fundraiser for a local child suffering with a recurring brain tumour.

For December, we donated £140 to the Make A Wish Foundation.

We raised £50 for Dougie Mac with our annual Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser.
