Commercial
Insurance
Having suitable and sufficient Commercial Property Insurance is an important factor in running a profitable business, whether you occupy the premises yourself, let them out to a tenant or currently leave them unoccupied. Standard policies consist of cover which gives insurance against Floods, Lightning, Explosion, Earthquake and Aircraft (FLEEA), however Connect can guide you through all the other features available.
Besides FLEEA cover, commercial property insurance can provide a whole host of other benefits such as cover for contents, liability and financial protection. Buildings and contents can be covered for standard or accidental damage cover; liability insurance to cover any claims arising due to outstanding repairs, alternatively faulty fixtures or fittings that cause injury; and also benefits such as protection against tenant defaulting on rent, or Loss of Rent cover which would prevent incurring a loss in the event that the property cannot be occupied whilst repairs are being completed as a result of an ongoing claim.

Please be aware we can also supply Unoccupied Commercial Property Insurance; when the property has no regular tenant there is an increased likelihood of theft, vandalism or flood damage as a result of burst pipes. Do not assume that insurance for your property is not worth having whilst the premises are unoccupied. For more information, please contact Connect Insurance.
