What's is classed as contents, and what isn't?
Buildings Cover refers to the structure of the home in general including fixtures and fittings and all non removable items such as yards, driveways, central heating, fitted bathrooms and kitchens, laminate flooring and more. The buildings cover will indemnify you from damage caused by extreme weather conditions, and if selected, accidental damage such as crashing a vehicle the wall of the garage and ending up in the kitchen.
Contents Cover refers to your own personal possessions, predominantly any items and belongings that would be removed from the property at the end of your tenancy, or if you decided to move house. Common examples of Contents include furniture, clothing, electronic goods, and other valuables such as jewellery.
