Following our 2014 announcement that Connect Insurance director Vivienne Gilroy had been appointed to the position of Deputy President for the Chartered Insurance Institute of Stoke-on-Trent, we are proud to update a year later that Mrs Gilroy has now been appointed as President.
Of the 60 local institutes across the UK, the Stoke-on-Trent CII is one of the longest standing in the country, boasting it’s inauguration over a century ago in 1909. The CII is the leading professional body for global financial services and comprises of over 112,000 members in more than 150 countries globally. Industry professionals volunteer their spare time to provide seminars, training, mentoring, and career guidance to CII members, delivering education to over 1 million students in the last decade.
2015 saw Connect Insurance director Vivienne Gilroy supercede Matthew Porter of QBE Insurance as the President of the Stoke-on-Trent CII. Past recent presidents of the CII include Sue Spruce of Rawlins Insurance, and Howard Ball, Justice of the Peace.
